Following the successful March edition, on November 19-20 the second part of the 2026 ValencianTech Int. Workshop on Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics and Optimization Algorithms will be held at the CPI building (Yellow Cube) of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). Supported by the Generalitat Valenciana (GVA, CIAORG/2026/019) and the EURO WG on Business Analytics and AI Interfaces, the event is coordinated by the ICSO Meta research group (CIAICO/2024/117) at the CIGIP and the Valencian Graduate School and Research Network of Artificial Intelligence (ValgrAI). Different tracks at this workshop are also co-organized by the following partners: Decision Science Alliance (DSA), Conselleria de Sanitat GVA, UNIE Universidad, Centro Español de Logística, Divina Seguros, Math Biology, Esade Business School, Foro de Ingeniería del Transporte, and ICSO Analytics.

This edition of the workshop will feature sessions focusing on applied research and technology transfer in three vertical sectors: Healthcare (November 19), Transportation, Logistics & Mobility (November 20), and Business Analytics & Marketing (November 20). Discussions will include:

Artificial Intelligence: Integration of Machine Learning and GenAI models in enterprise digitization processes.
Business Analytics: Predictive modeling, data analytics, and their application in strategic decision-making for companies.
Industrial Optimization: Metaheuristic algorithms to enhance efficiency in complex systems and processes.
Mathematics & Computing: Mathematical and computational aspects of artificial intelligence, optimization algorithms, and data analytics.

Managers, researchers, industry professionals, and PhD students in the fields of computational engineering, artificial intelligence, industrial mathematics, data analytics, and optimization algorithms are encouraged to participate. The workshop provides an excellent platform to share ideas, meet young and senior researchers in these fields, foster public-private collaborations, and explore the latest trends and advancements in the field.

On November 19-20, 2026, the second part of the ValencianTech Int. Workshop on Data Analytics, Algorithms, and Artificial Intelligence will be held at the CPI building (Yellow Cube) of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). Supported by Generalitat Valenciana (CIAORG/2026/019), the first part of this international workshop took place on March 5-6, 2026. The event is jointly organized by the ICSO Meta research group (CIAICO/2024/117) at the CIGIP, the Valencian Graduate School and Research Network of Artificial Intelligence (ValgrAI), the Decision Science Alliance (DSA), the FADOA research group at IUMPA, and the EURO WG on Business Analytics and AI Interfaces.

The workshop will feature sessions focusing on applied research and technology transfer in sectors such as Transportation & Energy, Higher Education, Production, Insurance, Marketing, and Healthcare. Discussions will include:

Business Analytics: Advancements in predictive modeling, data analytics, and their application in strategic decision-making for companies.
Artificial Intelligence: Development of algorithms, machine learning methods, and GenAI models, and their uses in enterprise digitization processes.
Industrial Optimization: Metaheuristic algorithms to enhance efficiency, from logistics and transportation to finance and insurance.
Mathematics and AI Foundations: Mathematical methods supporting AI, as well as the use of AI tools to support mathematical discovery.
Computing: Computational aspects of data analytics, artificial intelligence, and optimization algorithms.

ValencianTech’26 is a satellite workshop of the main DSA annual event, the Decision Science Summit’26, which took place in Madrid on June 18–19, 2026 (https://decisionsciencesummit.com/). DSS’26 served as a meeting point for AI researchers and practitioners from several European countries.

Authors of the best works presented at ValencianTech’26, as selected by the Scientific Committee, will be invited to submit a full paper (with a full waiver proposal), to one of the following Special Issues in open-access journals: “Data Analytics, Algorithms and Artificial Intelligence in Transport, Finance and Healthcare” in Algorithms (JCR IF = 2.1, Q2; Scopus CiteScore = 4.5, Q1), and “Intelligent Algorithms Hybridizing Optimization, Machine Learning, and Simulation: Methods and Applications” in Mathematics (JCR IF = 2.2, Q1; Scopus CiteScore = 4.6, Q1).
